is looking for an experienced concrete construction superintendent to oversee construction projects in

Job Functions :
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to manage project budgets, general conditions, track field costs, and review subcontractor change orders, specifically for tilt-up concrete projects.
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings to determine requirements and plan procedures.
- Supervise, schedule, and coordinate subcontractor work activities and material deliveries, with a focus on tilt-up concrete operations.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive site logistics plan throughout all phases of work.
- Maintain a high level of quality control through frequent and regular inspections of work in progress.
- Complete all reports and records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure adherence to company safety and insurance policies, protocols, and OSHA compliance.
- Analyze subcontractor production, manpower requirements, and direct work to maintain the project schedule.
- Conduct and participate in safety, quality, and subcontractor progress meetings.
Qualifications :
- Proficiency in managing commercial projects, encompassing design, general engineering principles, construction techniques, industry standards, materials, and work sequencing.
- Dedication to cultivating a robust construction safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and safety plans.
- Familiarity with the permitting process and its role in project inspections, closeout procedures, and other relevant aspects.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for tilt-up concrete projects, coupled with a strong work ethic.
- Genuine commitment to client satisfaction.
- Possession of strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, multitasking, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Competence in computer usage for tasks such as emails, daily reporting, construction scheduling, and utilizing Procore.
- Mandatory completion of 30-hour OSHA certification training.
Experience :
- 7 years of commercial construction project supervision
- Concrete tilt-up construction experience.
- Site construction experience.
Physical Demands :
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Talk or hear with others on the jobsite and via phone/computer communications.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment :
The Superintendent will be always at the worksite whenever work or testing is being performed. The worksite environment is constantly changing and may include extreme weather.
