Requirements
- Sets up and maintains permanent control throughout the entire line and grade portion of the project.
- Identify, locate base line control, create, and Maintain job control from baseline for duration of project.
- Perform layout of footings, rebar, faces of concrete, Anchor bolt locations within a tolerance of either an ACI standard or project parameters.
- Proficient with the use of advanced instruments and total station to perform an accurate layout.
- The use of CAD, with the ability to manipulate received structural, Civil or landscape files and incorporate them into workable backgrounds in the Data Collector is preferred.
- Ability to create additional Benchmarks when needed from information supplied by either Total station or site level.
- Applicant is also required to create as-builts of anchor bolt, concrete faces, and any aspects of the project necessary into a sharable format.
- The ability to read, understand and interpret to the project all Contract Drawings, RFI’s and sketches as a project evolves.
- Proficient with the use of advanced instruments and total station to perform an accurate layout.
- Delivers layout information to the project team to ensure proper execution.
Requirements And Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in field engineering, surveying, and layout for a large-scale Commercial, Self-Perform General Contractor or Concrete Contractor
- Seeking someone with a variety of project types with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial
- Knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over 1 million dollars
