We are looking for hardworking, dependable Concrete Laborers to join our structural concrete team. We focus on the heavy lifting of construction: assembling complex formwork, prepping tilt-up panels, and assisting with post-tensioned (PT) deck installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formwork Assembly: Assist in the setup and stripping of structural forming systems (e.g., wall forms, deck systems, and columns).
  • Tilt-Up Preparation: Help clean and prep casting beds, install bond breakers, and assist in the layout of tilt-up wall panels.
  • Structural Support: Support the installation of rebar and post-tensioning cables; help pull tendons and set anchors under the direction of the Foreman.
  • Site Prep & Maintenance: Move materials, stage equipment (like formwork components and PT chairs), and maintain a clean, hazard-free job site.
  • Power Tool Operation: Safely operate hammer drills, saws, grinders, and various hand tools required for formwork and structural prep.
  • The Placement: Assist during structural pours by vibrating concrete to ensure consolidation around rebar and PT cables (no finishing required).

Requirements

    • Physical Strength: Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently, climb ladders, and work on your feet in all weather conditions.
    • Reliability: You must have dependable transportation and a track record of showing up on time, ready to work.
    • Safety First: A strong commitment to safety, including the proper use of PPE (hard hats, safety glasses, harnesses).
    • Willingness to Learn: No advanced experience is required, but you must be able to follow technical instructions and work well within a team.
    • Experience (Plus): Prior experience with PERI/Symons systems or a basic understanding of blueprinted layouts is a major advantage.
