We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Lull Operator to support our concrete construction crews by safely and efficiently moving materials on active job sites. Key Responsibilities

As a Lull Operator, you play a critical role in keeping the jobsite running smoothly and safely. Your primary duties include:

  • Equipment Operation: Operate an all-terrain telehandler (Lull) to lift, move, position, and place materials as required throughout the jobsite.
  • Load Handling: Follow direction from riggers and site supervision using hand signals or verbal communication to execute safe and accurate load movements.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain a strong commitment to jobsite safety by adhering to company policies and OSHA standards at all times.
  • Communication: Coordinate effectively with crew members, foremen, and other operators to ensure efficient workflow and hazard awareness.
  • Equipment Inspection: Perform daily and monthly inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition and report any issues promptly.
  • Maintenance & Care: Properly clean, maintain, and store equipment to extend service life and ensure reliability.
  • Team Support: Work under the direction of the project foreman and assist crews as needed to meet project deadlines.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Be available for overtime and occasional weekend work as project demands require.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Licensing: Valid 1C license required for telescoping booms without cables.
  • Experience: Proven experience operating telehandlers or similar heavy equipment in a construction environment.
  • Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices and hazard recognition.
  • Communication: Ability to understand and respond to hand signals and verbal instructions clearly.
  • Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively under supervision.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and remain active throughout the workday.
